For such a young pipe maker, Scott Klein already shows a remarkable degree of finesse and restraint: a willingness to let a beautiful piece of wood speak for itself. That’s exactly what we find here in his interpretation of the classic Brandy. While the shaping appears rather traditional at first glance, I can’t help but notice the extra width at the bottom of the bowl, which provides a slightly expanded canvas for the gorgeous birdseye that adorns both sides of the pipe. While the dimensions are compact, the piece still offers a generous chamber that should provide a lengthy smoke of your favorite blend. The horn accent works perfectly with the shape and form to convey a sense of reserved elegance.
