About This Pipe
A classically Danish little design, this Scott Klein bent Apple follows from one simple, clean curve to the next throughout its shaping, producing an endearing, and rather eager-looking form and gesture defined by a plump, compact bowl and lively, flaring shank. For the finish he's gone with an understated and tasteful combination of a black sandblast for the bulk of the briar, contrast by a smooth-polished, dark walnut rim, and a wafer of ivory for facing off the mount.
