About This Pipe
Here Scott Klein has done quite a fine job of utilizing the the shank and transition to emphasize this design's to strongest features. Firstly, there's the shank/transition's gentle slenderness, which serves wonderfully to accentuate the full, broad-hipped shapeliness of the bowl, and secondly there's the shank's simple brevity, allowing him to show off that much more of the beautifully turned horn which makes up the ferrule. Though not a large pipe by any means, this piece does fill out the hand very nicely, while also offering a chamber of good depth and breadth alike.
