While some Picta series briars taker a fair amount of artistic license with their shapes, compared to the pipe that appears in the sketches and paintings they're based off of (sometimes out of necessity, for lack of detail in the original), this graceful, sinuous Rhodesian-meets-Calabash shape is a spot-on rendition of the briar being smoked by an anonymous young gentleman in simple, yet very illustrative sketch by Pablo Picasso from the year 1900.
