Well, this is an odd one. But then, it has come to us from the main marque of the Pesaro school, so that's to be expected. While not as completely off the wall as, say, the deliberately mad "Insanus" pipes, this La Pipaccia does offer one very novel hybrid of bent Egg bowl-shape, Stack-like bowl height (and chamber depth, too), A Rhodesian-esque double-bead (with added, central channel) halfway up, the delicately canted rim of the Danish "Tulip" variation of the Brandy, and a long, fine, elegant shank, stem, and slim silver mount combination. It may be a mutt, but it's a beautiful one for sure.
