Say the word "Lovat" and the first thing to come to my mind would be a short and handy pipe sized for tucking into a jacket pocket. That is, after all, how most are designed. Not this one though. This, most definitely, is a house pipe; simply massive in form, a rock-solid sitter, extra-deep of chamber and extra-stout in its walls. Along with all that it also happens to sport several acres worth of ring grain, and not little amount of birdseye at the polished rim.
