Ser Jacopo's Albus et Niger finishes stand out, especially compared to the warm earth tones this marque uses on most of their briars. One could say it's their equivalent of Dunhill's Dress, serving as the dark and sleek Ser Jacopo. Rather than simply go with the now widely-copied Dunhill formula, however, they dress the briar not in an opaque ebony, but deeply smokey stain that still allows the grain to show subtly, and fit it with a pale, creamy-white stem. Like the Dress however, sterling silver mounts or bands are the rule with the Albus et Niger too.
