Ser Jacopo: Picta Van Gogh Sandblasted Cherrywood with Bamboo (S2) (06)

Product Number: 002-171-2010

Though an unassuming and charmingly old-fashioned looking design, the van Gogh "06" is actually unique amongst the various Picta-series pipes, being the only one that doesn't use bright sterling silver for its accent. Instead it goes with bamboo, sandwiched between two pieces of either horn or, as in this case, beautiful cumberland. One thing it does have in common with several other designs of the Picta van Gogh, though, is that it takes inspiration from a pipe Vincent himself can be seen smoking in one of his self-portraits, in this case one from 1886.
