Somehow Ser Jacopo can make massive pipes while all the while maintaining classical proportions. Just imagine a classic Lovat with its Billiard bowl, long round shank, and short saddle stem. Well, that's exactly what you see here... just magnified two or three times. The bowl-to-shank ratio is dead on, and the drilling expert. Presented in a medium-contrast walnut finish, there's plenty of flame and birdseye on this massive hunk of briar as well. So if you're a fan of large pipes, Lovats, or those over-sized pencils you used to have in school, this Ser Jacopo might be the one for you. It certainly promises a long, enjoyable, smooth smoke. Of course, what else can you expect from a marque founded by the leader of the neoclassical revolution?
