Ser Jacopo: Foeda Sandblasted Freehand with Silver (S1) (2)
Product Number: 002-171-2024
Ser Jacopo's "Foeda" stamp corresponds to the stem: one that can be reversed (rotated upside down) for either a bent or straight (well, sort of) configuration. Whimsical by design, the shaping here seems to be inspired by the marque's Picta Magritte series, combining the transition, heel, and shank of a Hawkbill with elements of the Dublin and Billiard shapes. Its beveled rim and waistline exude a Tulip-like feel as well. As you might expect, the chamber is quite capacious with plenty of stout walls to keep the heat within. It's presented here in a dark sandblast with plenty of rings to boot. A delicate, silver wedding band provide that final touch of class to this unique composition.
