About This Pipe
Within the standards of the Picta Magritte series, the 04 shape is so unrepentantly conventional that it makes Sir Tony's character in Remains of the Day look like Hannibal Lecter by comparison. To add to the interest, the painting this pipe was based on (1929's "La Liberta della spirito"), is arguably one of Magritte's more baffling works. That being said, there is nothing baffling about the superlative shaping, delightful grain, nor the signature sterling that adorns the Magritte series.
