I don't know whether Senatorov possesses a particular affection for the organic styling of these fat-shanked bent Dublins, or if he just likes the opportunity they provide to show off more ring grain. My guess would be that it's equal parts "Collumn A" and "Collumn B." Whatever the answer may be, he's certainly managed to achieve both. Of course, typical of his pieces, no matter how much substance may be packed into the briar's form, the stem and bit are ultra-fine.
