This is but only the third Rhodesian we've ever received from Lasse, and each one has been very distinctly different in design. As a shape he visits rarely, evidently he prefers to come back to it with a fresh eye. Here he keeps the upper bowl quite classical, while going with a muscular, natural and smooth curve for the shank, transition, and lower bowl. Although he did the same for the last Rhodesian we received, in this case he kept the shank shorter and the stem lighter, counter-balancing the bowl instead with a fine-edged, flaring disk shape surrounding the mortise.
