About This Pipe
This magnificent pipe is the first of its kind from Lasse Skovgaard. Heck, it may be the first of its kind from anyone. Lasse stared with a block of briar so large, that this composition's finished height approaches three and a half inches. From there he carved an exceptionally elegant shark's tooth. His use of the round and edged, the bulge and the bevel is so skillfully brought into play. I can barely take my eyes off of this piece. The cross cut grain and birdseye are quite worthy of Lasse's "Lion" grade.
