About This Pipe
Looking back through our archives, searching for a similar Lasse design I could take notes from, I've found that though the graceful underlying gesture of this Calabash has been several times before, in both Dublin and Calabash designs, each time Lasse has revisited it and he's altered cross-sections, bowl forms, even stem bases - the result being that though the essence of the composition is repeated, everything else about it is kept fresh and new. History does not repeat itself, wise men say, but it does know how to rhyme. Apparently much the same could be said of Lasse's design genius.
