About This Pipe
Back to the future, Tokutomi style. The execution of this new blowfish hearkens back to the fugu that the master was creating in 2003-2004. The center bevel utterly dominates the composition, (not a bad thing when you take a look at the insanely beautiful cross cut grain that it contains). The oppositional side panels are much closer in size than the blowfish that we have seen from Toku-san as of late, and the knife like wings at the rear of the side panels are decidedly more muted. Superb grain, pleasing execution, this pipe has all the elements that one looks for in a Tokutomi.
