About This Pipe
Contrasting an extra-stout, Danish freehand interpretation of the Dublin's bowl and shank with a long, trim, ibis-bill of a stem, this Nielsen briar sets up an interesting composition just from the profile alone. Filling in the details, we find a rich, smoky burnt-umber contrast stain working alongside dense flame grain and birdseye, and complimented by the beautiful cumberland pattern of the stem.
