About This Pipe
Definitely on the more substantial end of the shaping scale, within the context of what I've seen from Tsuge at least, this stout Calabash is if anything, reminiscent of Bo Nordh, or Hiroyuki Tokutomi channeling Bo Nordh. Approaach to design aside, it's also simply a beautiful composition; a lovely piece of briar, flush with flame grain, softly contrasted in finish, and accented by a finely-polished, fittingly substantial ring of mammoth ivory.
