Ikebana Sandblasted Bent Egg (C) Tobacco Pipe

With the supplest of curves and the smoothest of lines, this stunning Ikebana from the folks at Tsuge blends compositional elements of both Egg and Horn to achieve an elegantly rotund yet superlatively winsome shape. From the rim's anterior lip to the shank face is sculpted along the x-axis of the ventral line a wide panel which allows the piece, despite its rough, sandblasted exterior, to sit comfortably atop any smooth surface. The hefty, rounded posterior side of the bowl imparts an added measure of shapeliness, as does its rim, what with its blossoming, almost Dublin-like mouth. Altogether it's a tremendously attractive and unique pipe; the kind of thing Tsuge does so well.
