Smooth Acorn (F) Tobacco Pipe

Now here's something a little different from Tsuge. The estimable Japanese marque does indeed love to play around with the Acorn shape, perhaps above all others, so this solidly executed iteration of the form should come as no surprise to those of you familiar with the brand. Again, solidly well done from top to bottom; particularly noteworthy, obviously, is the stepped portion of the bowl near the shank transition. It's a bit different, albeit, however, I think this Ikebana pulls it off swimmingly well. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the pipe is positively teeming with fine grain, beautifully stained as it is in a warm auburn-orange hue.
