Vauen: Classic Sandblasted (5493) P-Lip (9mm)

Product Number: 002-457-1492

A very theatrical and intimidating bent Dublin/Acorn, one could imagine this pipe poking through the little wooden door of a house filled with terrified 17th-cenutry English peasants; with who one the other end, but the infamous witch-hunter Matthew Hopkins. “I met with the Devil", he would groan, rolling the black pipe around in his sharp, pointed jaw, "and cheated him of his Book, wherein were written all the Witches names in England, and if I look on any Witch, I can tell by her countenance what she is."

Perhaps I am misjudging the character of this pipe, but with its raven black sandblast, piercing doubling-ring accent, low-hanging jut, and deeply-bent, sharp heel, I can't help but match it to the fashion worn by every actor who ever played Hopkin in a Salem witch trial movie: the trademark bucket-top boots, sleek trimmed doublet and casaque, all in black, of course. But that's half of the pipe's charm, even though it is slightly villainous. The villains always get the best lines anyway.
