Everything sounds fancier if you translate it into French - even the Germans agree. Thus has German pipe maker Vauen dubbed this series the "Laiton" - French for "brass", thus making it sound that much more alluring to any and all non-francophones. Granted, I think the series would do just fine by just about any name, as the combination of handsome brass accents and a rich, warm finish is plenty attractive in its own right. Here it's featured in the form of Vauen's thoroughly smooth, yet still quite bold "1061" bent Brandy design.
