Combining an absolute knock-out of a Danish design with his own utterly unique, ultra-fine "suede-blast" finish, this Walt Cannoy bent Egg is one very impressive piece of pipemaking - and I say that as someone who sees some of the best work available today on a regular basis. Even with his unique finishing and excellent shaping, though, I have to say what really stands out about Walt's creations is their combination of precise execution, and a great eye for complex, yet clean, tasteful, and aesthetically balanced accents, like the multi-layered application of Paduk and spalted Peruvian Mahogany seen here.
