Werner works in intensity. Briar too, mind you - but mostly intensity. Intense textures, intense, completely out-there shapes, and intense finishes and palettes. In the case of this Poker he keeps the shape itself fairly conservative, but definitely delivers intensity of texture, and then goes and turns the color up to "11" with the deepest, most saturated emerald-green I've ever seen applied to briar. I'm honestly left wondering just how he got such an intense shade and hue out of the stain without the use of a heavy gloss finish over top it.
