The Horn can be a very inconvenient shape when taken to artistic extremes. Canted too steeply, it isn't the best shape in hand, can burn tobacco unevenly, and risks embers falling right out of the chamber. One might assume that the Danish only designed it to get at the heart of their own affinity for minimalist form. Well, Poul Winslow isn't that kind of Danish pipe maker, because he has thought of all that and remedied it with a sharper upturn of the bowl. Now it's perfect, and look, it even sits better than most "sitting pipes". Thank you Poul, you've thought of everything.
