To me, Poul Winslow has always been the light to Erik Nording's darkness. That isn't to say that he is less edgy or experimental than Nording. They are both 'enfant terribles' in their own right, and I mean that in the best possible way; but where Winslow refines the form, Nording relieves with an almost primal voracity. This Crown Smooth bent Dublin, however, very much resembles one of Nording's Signature Natural Freehands, right down to the 'pedal wilt' rustication on the rim. Where Winslow's design begins to differentiate is in the seamless flow, for which Nording certainly would have added a spur or delineated from the referential floral shape. I personally would love to see these two individualistic masters team up for a collaboration.
