Contemplate the Cherrywood or a moment, and the shaping/spirit aspects that you would normally associate with the same. I am guessing that words/phrases, such as "lithe", "graceful" "botanical", were well ahead "massive", "geological" and "in a pinch, can be used in place of a Denver sap for self defense?" Here, Poul Winslow creates that latter, and manages to preserve some very nice vertical grain. Only Poul.
