About This Pipe
A stout Dublin straight sitter, this Winslow Crown is presented in a warm, rich amber-and-burnt orange contrast finish quite different from Poul's usual stains, yet also one which is perfectly suited to the briar's copious flame grain and birdseye. As solid as the proportions are, the design is not without its complexities, as evidenced by the little up-turn of the line of the heel, the gentle roll of the rounded rim, and the almost imperceptible downward bend of the saddle stem.
