Back in the day, Astley's was a tobacconist located in the upscale shopping district of Jerym Street in London. Although they didn't make any pipes themselves, they did contract such companies as James Upshall, Dunhill, L&JS, and Bill Taylor of Ashton Pipes to produce pipes under their name. In addition to pipes, they also carried a range of tobaccos under the Astley's brand which, despite Astley's no longer existing, are still manufactured by Kolhase & Kopp.
