About This Pipe Tobacco

For Lane's HGL blend, toasted Cavendish is laced with Mountain Latakia, then blended with White Burley and Golden Virginia to produce a sweet, fuller-bodied smoke, yet cool and slow burning.

If you like to have a variety of aromatics. This one should be on your list. Its not the best thing ever but it is something I like to enjoy regularly. In my opinion 3 stars is a pretty good rating and thats where I rate most things I like. I save 4 and up for things that are a must have and something that is very special. This smokes well. No bite. The flavors are very pleasant all the way to the bottom of the bowl. I enjoyed the coolness of the mixture. One of my new favorites. Satiates my craving for aromatics without the bite or loss of flavor towards the end of the bowl. Great room note also. The smokiness of the Latakia peeks through for a taste reminiscent of making s'mores by the campfire. Would highly recommend.
