Founded in 1787, Robert Lewis is the longest running tobacco merchant in London still open. This great London tradition
was founded by Christopher Lewis, a Welshman. It was later taken over by a relative of Christopher Lewis, Robert Lewis and
the shop still bears his name. Though it moved a number of times over the years, it ultimately settled on the location at 19
St. James Street, where it has been since.
Until recently, these tobaccos were only available at the shop on St. James Street. Blended from the finest ingredients
and very much in the English style and tradition, these blends have been in existence since the 19th century.
