Tatuaje's LLE line stands for "Limited Lonsdale Extra," referencing the sole vitola in this limited-edition release. Initially released in 2011 as the NHC Selección Limitada Capa Especial with a total production of 1,400 cigars exclusive to the New Havana Cigars shop, it sold out almost immediately in its debut. The series was re-released in 2021 as the LLE Capa Especial, sharing the same blend as the original, and in 2024 it was reintroduced again as this: the LLE Broadleaf Reserva. The only change made for this edition of the LLE is the wrapper, trading the original's leaf of Ecuadorian Sumatra for one of Connecticut Broadleaf, with binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua.
