Some time back a bunch of vintage ashtrays were brought in to be given out to any of the staff who wanted them. It didn't take long before each and every one was claimed - as in, before I even saw the email notifying us of this. They were the sort many of us recalled grandfathers or uncles having had, and something I noticed in common amongst them was warm, and far from flashy palettes; they looked relaxed and informal, and having one around made you feel relaxed and informal. And that's what I'm seeing here too, in this particular Italian number.
