Made by Tsuge and crafted from aluminum alloy, this Kulu Cool filter is designed to improve the quality of the smoke and condense moisture in pipes drilled to accommodate 9mm filters. It's also reusable and the spiral structure increases the length the smoke has to travel, allowing for better moisture control.

Simple to use. Easy to clean. Perfect to use with complex blends if you don’t want to alter the experience. But you will need to ensure your tobacco is a little bit on the drier side, otherwise you will be sipping juices. The aluminum stays cool and accelerates condensation as your smoke passes through. I always make sure to have one of these in my pipe bags just in case my filters get wet or if I have a 9mm drilled pipe but don’t want to use a media filter. I bought this on a whim and have zero complaints. I clean it once ever 10 smokes, or if I switch to aromatics. Please don't over-think this one. I only own one 9mm pipe and it keeps it in the rotation. I get a cooler smoke with none of that gurgle that can happen with tobacco with a higher moisture. Did I need to go this route? Admittedly, I bought this just because it looks so unusual. I didn't expect much from it, since I assumed it would be little better than a stinger. But, I'm glad I bought what seems to have been the last one in stock, since it works extremely well, and I haven't had a gurgle yet. It does require cleaning ~ but a quick rinse under the faucet does the trick, and it will last forever! I only hope they get more in stock, as I'd love to have a couple more!...Read More

If you don't like traditional filters, but want a dry smoke this works well. Keeps your own moisture from getting to the bowl as well. As long as you keep it clean, it will not corrupt the flavor.
