Good flow

These flow well and are short enough to fit some of my pipes where other brands are too long. They get very dirty and wet, so I know they are filtering stuff.

The filters fit too tightly in a a 6mm Savinelli. Also,
the draw is is too tight.
I sold 6mm pipes and only use 9mm.

While these are bit shorter than other 6mm charcoal filters, they are snug enough in most pipes so that they don't disappear into the tenon. These flow much better than another brand of 6mm charcoal that I tried.

the smoke rather well. However, my only real complaint is the length of this filter. The size of the filter in compliance with the length result in 2 setbacks. 1, the stem gets rather wet, but is avoidable by sticking a cleaner in the stem between or after smokes. 2, do not push the filter all the way into the stem you may need tweezers to get it out. And finally 3, I understand these are small filters, and their life span is short, so I think it's better to use them as 1 time uses, so stock up! All in all a good filter and my auto pilot when it comes to smoking my pipe. Read Less

I find the resistance of the draw of all charcoal filters to be unacceptable.
I made one work in a Grabow by not inserting it in the stem but by dropping it into the shank.
That way the draw worked and the filter appeared to be effective.
