Founded in Ettenstatt, Bavaria in 1945, White Elephant offers a wide array of highly-absorbent filters that make any smoke dryer. White Elephant's Superflow filters are designed to fit snugly inside a pipe's tenon and feature two heat-resistant, ventilated ceramic caps at each end that provide a natural draw and facilitate filtration. These particular Superflow filters contain activated charcoal and are designed to fit inside a 9mm tenon. The filters are available here in a pack of 10.

I use these in my Tsuge 9mm pipe. They work great. If you are not familiar with a filtered pipe smoke, here is what you can expect: the filters WILL give you a cleaner smoke feel in your mouth as it cuts down the tar ect- after I smoke with a filtered pipe, my mouth does not taste like an ashtray. The filters WILL drastically reduce tongue bite. The filters WILL (slightly) mute the flavors of your tobacco because it’s FILTERING…BUT, that’s not a bad thing with certain tobaccos. I use both filtered and non filtered and some tobaccos I enjoy MORE with a filter, as it tames some of the inconsistency of the burn IMO.
