With a rustic, textured, metallic finish, the Kiribi Takara stays true to its namesake inspiration, calling to mind sunken treasure found in deep waters. Available in either a gold coin-like Brass or the silvery Black seen here, each lighter is etched with the Kiribi logo and the iconic giant squid on opposite faces.

Aesthetics aside, it's quite the functional pipe lighter as well — combining all the high-tech features and convenient cap toggle of the popular Kabuto, only in two bolder finish styles.

Bought this as my first real and well made pipe lighter, arrived quickly and thoroughly wrapped. The finish on the lighter is beautiful, with the contrast of the polished pieces and the stonewashed body, and the engravings are beautiful and crisp. It lights easily and the flame is consistent, I have heard that the screw for the lever/cap can come loose so I'll be keeping an eye on it. Either way, a beautiful lighter that is much better than the cheap one that I used for a while before it broke and I look forward to using it for a long time....Read More

This is the most elegant lighter I have found out there the finish on it it's like black Chrome it is fitted together extremely well and the attention to detail is outstanding. The package that comes with is also nice enough where I keep the lighter in there. The art work is something to be looked at and admired you won't go wrong with this lighter. Also the soft flame is perfect for the best lighting experience you can find next to a match if not better. My only downside is that you will not be using this in a windy area but that's what we have pipes Zippos for =)...Read More

this is a Great lighter I ever own. very nice finish and action and it holds 4g of gas(i measure it) I do highly recommend Kiribi Kabuto too, basically same lighter
