Designed to accommodate two pipes, a tamper, and lighter this is a phenomenal smaller pipe bag from Peterson. The quality of the leather is great and the compact size makes it ideal for taking pipes to the office. You can easily stick this bag in a jacket pocket or briefcase.
I embrace the hobby side of pipe smoking. I like the nicer things, and sometimes you have to be willing to pay up for that. I'm not a pipe snob, I love my MMs because of how well they smoke, but there is something special about a nice briar, and ther... Read Moree is a price component that goes with that. This case is one of those glorious exceptions where competitive quality comes at a disproportionate cost. I've had mine for almost 5 years and I still look a fancier cases, but its like being married to a beautiful woman. I'll look but that only serves to remind me that I like what I have at home. Heavily cushioned in rich leather with the Peterson logo stamped on the cover, this is a fine, stylish way to transport your pipes (2) along with accessories, like your tamping tool and a Zippo lighter, along with anything else you might need. This is the best carrying pouch I've come across, and is priced just right. Try it, I think you'll like it. Read Less
While I've only had the bag for a short while (a bit over a month at the time of this review), I've been quite pleased with it. I typically load in a pair of 3/4-bent billiards (both Savinellis: a 613 and a 614) tucked in for the commute to and from ... Read Morework. While the fit is a bit snug, the zipper doesn't strain and moves quite easily without any evidence (or sensation) that the slider is hitting briar as it moves. Looking at the pictures on this site and on Peterson's home page, I was expecting three plain leather loops; the elastic bands hidden under those loops was a bit of a surprise but a pleasant one. The materials and workmanship belie the very modest cost of this bag and wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to anyone seeking an inexpensive, quality bag/case for a pair of pipes. Read Less
