Makes my dull stems shine again. Buff out oxidation, apply this after you're done smoking and it will keep those vulcanite stems looking like new.

Remove any oxidation first.
Apply sparsely on the stem, let it sit for 30 minutes or so, wipe of with a soft cloth. Your stem will come out looking like new.

Since buying this I haven't used my polishing wheel once. It keeps the pipe bits looking new. I did find that it will not remove oxidation that's already there; but maybe I wasn't giving the solution enough time to work.

It keeps stems shiny and black as advertised. A very small dab covers a whole stem, so a small bottle will last quite a while. Good product.

tle I repeated the process 2 or even 3 times in a row and noticed a huge difference. I personally like to apply the oil with a Q-Tip and rub in circular motions across the entire stem. onths of abuse and travel with my pipes, their stems still look glossy. It’s well worth the time and effort. Mineral oils are what industry uses to maintain hard rubber, so it’s also a good idea to keep the already-abused stems on your workhorse pipes from oxidizing and becoming brittle. Read Less
