Much like his other designs, this Neal Yarm 7-pipe stand is fashioned solidly from quality hardwood. This particular piece allows your pipes to rest in a tilted, reclining position for an easy, restive presentation. Each of the seven evenly spaced slots comes pre-lined with felt padding to prevent any scratching or marring of finishes or stems.

Quite nice, but a bit narrow

The styling of the pipe rack is great. I really like the mahogany. The design is a mixed bag. The distance to the supports may not work for some of the shortest pipes and the angle may not be great for some bent pipes. Also, it would be nice if the recesses were chamfered. However, the biggest issue is that the spacing is a bit tight. It doesn't accommodate just any pipe that I want to place in it. I have to be judicious and alternate a bit between wider and narrower pipes. It can just barely fit my family of Rossi's 3 Prince pipes (Piccolo, Vitoria, Lucca) in ascending order. I have to put the largest one (Lucca) on the end, or put a smaller pipe next to it. Overall, it looks great, but has some, not quite minor, functionality issues....Read More

I bought this stand because 1) it holds 7 pipes, and 2) the pipes lay down at an angle. The latter may seem trivial, but the 6 pipe stand it replaced held the pipes so that the stems got in the way of a tiny but important corner of the monitor of my PS4. That said, the stand is well made of nicely finished wood, with felt in all the right places. Now for wht’s wrong. The holes are a bit too shallow. Some of my slide right out. And the bit rest is a little to far back. Some of my shorter pipes wont reach. This caused me to rearrange a number of pipes. No big deal and I’m consitering taking down to the wood shop and making the necessary changes. But don’t be put off, this is an excellent stand at a reasonable price....Read More
