Perfect utility

I keep a few around the house and one in my car. When I go out, I take some of my more classy tampers, but for around the house or on the run, this one has it going on. It works and holds up well. I don't know that a reasonable person can break them.... Read More
I'm terribly hard on mine, and they all still function as they did when they arrived. It's also fairly attractive in form and finish given its cost. If you're on the fence, hop off of it and buy 1,2 or many. If you're disappointed, you're an odd duck. Read Less

Its stiff on the rotation and locks up at 180deg, On Chinese sites a rip off goes for 80 cents. The Czech made is much better (the one being sold), defiantly have a couple in the house :)

This little tool is just great, inexpensive and long lasting. It works every time and is a real essential for those outdoor smokes and walks.
I have several more expensive tools but this one is great and I keep about 4 of them around the house.

Like Craig mentioned, there are Chinese tools that look just like this tool, but they're flimsy, bend easily, and won't meet your standards.
This is a perfect tool and is sturdy enough to pack, clean, or minimally scrape your bowl.

r I bought it. Mind you, I'm not prying out staples with it, just using it to stir the bowl. The two remaining tools work as they were intended to; however, the tamper is made in such a way that when you lightly tamp down your ash, a little bit of it will accumulate on the top surface of the tamper. Once you pull it back out, if you don't notice the ash, it will get everywhere. The scoop is useful as a reamer when nothing else is available. For the price and the utility, it gets a 3 but it gets only a .5 for the quality of material used. Read Less

Out of the box, the item was very reluctant to let me separate the individual tools - reamer, poker, and tamper. Having sprayed the hub with some WD-40, however, the tool loosened up enough to neither feel flimsy, nor over-tight.

g that a little bit of penetrating oil and regular use won't fix. I don't see this causing any issues, I just don't want anyone to be surprised or accidently drop any metal shavings into their pipe! This would not stop me from buying again. Really pleased with the overall quality.
Update: These wore in perfectly with regular use, the resistance is now just right. The metal shavings were only a problem for the first couple of days. Never wound up oiling them. Read Less

The Czech Tool is cheap as hell, and you can drop it a dozen times on your patio and not feel remorse! Spend a little more and get a proper pipe knife. The reamer or pick is too short to be useful. The tamper has too small a surface area. The spoon is no good for scraping.
