Enjoyed my first filtered smoke with Peterson 9mm, in my Army filter pipe. Nearly given up on the hobby, to tongue bite and excessive saliva. These filters are a lifesaver.

Better than most

These are a better filter than most. Better draw and last longer. I was using Vauen, but they seem to restrict the draw after two smokes and don't seem to absorb as much moisture as these. I end up changing filters after three smokes with the Vauen, five to six smokes with the Peterson and probably could squeeze seven or eight if I smoke a drier tobacco. I also bought some White Elephant filters, I'll leave a review on those and let you guys know how they compare side by side, but so far, Peterson looks to be my go to in the future....Read More

To be fully honest it’s way different then other pipe filters. For example white elephant or flitz I believe because it absorbs most of the moisture so you can actually spot huge difference. Thank you!

This filter has a great absorption rate, I am always amazed at how much moisture it absorbs. I usually change my pipe filters every other smoke. It does not interfere with the taste of the tobacco and I find that I have less tar residue in my mouth after a smoke with a filter than without a pipe filter.
