Tampers & Tools: Pipe Nail

What is there to say that has not already been said?
It is a cheap and effective tool for the purpose. I've purchased probably twenty of these. They ride easy in the pocket. Cheap enough to lose or give away, without a second thought.

It's the best design and if you lose it ,you can just buy 20 since their cheap and it isn't as big of a deal I still try to avoid losing mine but it can happen when you least expect it.

Perfect, solid metal with a functional design, better than my 30 dollar fancy tamper.

It's made of metal. It's a pipe nail. It's useful. It's about a dollar. It's precisely as advertised, and it looks just like the picture. You can't possibly not like this. This is the most confident set of 5 stars I could ever deliver.

Simple and inexpensive. No nail head that can pull tobacco out of the bowl while tamping. I have broken one but was trying to use it as a screwdriver. Doesn’t break the bank if that happens or you loose it. Keeps in a pocket without poking. My go-too tool

Inexpensive (good thing because I tend to misplace these) but quality, functional pipe tool. Not plastic; the reviewer who said so must be thinking of something else. Get a handful and keep them around.

I have one on my smoking table, next to my fancy one. I have one out in the backyard bar, so I don't have to walk inside and look for one. I have one in my travel kit. I love that it is made in Italy, and not somewhere else.

First off this tamper is metal, not plastic as another reviewer mentioned. It’s the perfect size for the pocket and the square shape doesn’t bother me one bit, just rotate to tamp all edges of the round pipe chamber. Really better than a Czech tool in my opinion.

super cheap, comfortable to use, OK quality. seems like it's hollow on the inside, that makes the tamper quite light (weight wise). it'd be more comfortable if the tamping side would be round instead of rectangular but it's still good
