Tampers & Tools: Rattray's Tamper - Thin Caber Bamboo Light

The slimmer of Rattray's two "Caber" series of tampers, the "Thin Caber" offers a pipe tool with a high-end aesthetic, and some seriously sturdy construction. Like the "Fat Caber," it will readily tuck into a jacket pocket, and should make for an excellent companion to the faithful Ole Boy lighter, a favored blend, and of course, your trusty briar. As far as functionality goes, it wears a concave tamping foot at one end, with a cap at the opposite end that unscrews to reveal a dottle pick.

The finish option seen here is warm-hued bamboo with chrome accents at both ends.
