Tampers & Tools: Glotov Frogs and Bamboo Electroplated Nickel Silver Tamper with Case

Though being made completely from nickel and silver (electroplated to provide enhanced weather resistance and corrosion protection), this tamper from Alexander Glotov looks like a ferrule of bamboo that's been covered in metallic spray paint. It's incredibly impressive work as the Russian artisan has deftly etched knuckles into the surface as well as two detailed frogs climbing up its face. At the top, the tamper gives way to a rounded, concave scraper while below, the flattened foot unscrews to reveal an easily accessed pick.
