I see low rating saying this tool is big for small bowls, a little heavy, etc... I like a big tamper footprint. I think this is only medium in size. It fits every "standard" pipe easily. Its weight is solid, i wouldn't call it heavy unless comparing to a Czech tool. The green is vibrant and why i bought it.

Its the perfect companion for a Green System Lighter.

Otherwise I like a right angle soft flame Visol Poseidon w Pipe tools that open from the bottom. (It has a smaller tamper footprint but still adequate)....Read More

Right size, wrong shape

This is the style of pipe tool I prefer, but I don't like this one because the tamping foot is too large and too square to be useful. It won't even fit more than halfway into my smaller bowls.

I have had 3 Brigham Pipe tools now and all were not created equal. The stainless was a let down but the solid build of the inlaid aluminum are great.A little tight needs working in but open and close a few times and they are flawless, great buy great quality.

The color doesn't effect the product just a plus that you can get your favorite color! Anyways was hesitant on purchasing this product at first because of its lack of shovel. However after having used this product for several years I have come to prefer this style to the shovel. The weight of it is nice as well, just has a much more solid feel to it than a 3 piece czech. The tamper does take some getting use to if all you have ever used is a completely round tamper. My only complaint and reasoning behind the 3/4 star is because at the bottom of the tamper there is a slight crack in the metal which collects ash and has to be cleaned from time to time.
