I started out on a couple of MM pipes, figuring I’d make my mistakes on something less expensive but still great. The stems are soft and get a bit rough when clenching. ... and if you're a MM fan you likely will as well. I use the Savinelli Balsa filters (thanks to a great suggestion by customer service) and the mouthpiece has a tendency to mold to the filter a bit over time. One of the mouthpieces was unsmokable after about two months. Replacement mouthpiece means that my Mark Twain lives on....Read More

If you have a penchant for chomping on your pipe bits or maybe you use your corncob pipes as knockaround beater pipes, you owe it to yourself to keep a few on hand. Easy to clench but easy to dent.

I smoke my Missouri Meerschaum pipes quite a bit and gind that the stem gets gnawed up rather fast due to the soft plastic used. At 75 cents, these replacement stems are well worth it to keep a favorite pipe in rotation.
