First we introduced the Collegiate Starter Kit, then we expanded it.
And now we're streamlining it.
So here's the Collegiate Starter Kit 101: 1) Two one-ounce bags of tobacco, for smoking; 2) a Czech pipe tool, for tamping a pipe, scraping a pipe's bowl, and clearing a pipe's draft-hole; 3) a packet of pipe cleaners, for cleaning a pipe post-smoke; 4) a folding pipe stand, for giving a pipe a proper rest between smokes; 5) a pipe sock and a tobacco pipe/pouch, for taking a pipe on the go; and, finally, 6) a pipe, of course.

ordered straight) is quite a bit smaller than I expected. It is right at 5" long, and the bowl is only 1.5" tall, 1" wide on the outside and 3/4" inside. I can't put my index finger in the bowl to pack it.
I wish I had spend a little more on a serious pipe and a single pouch of tobacco. I could have picked up the other extras (pipe tool, pouch, pipe cleaners, and stand) for a couple bucks later....Read More
