I've ordered two of these so far. Both are good mats - thin enough to roll up into a bag or pouch, but still substantial - quality construction. The first was black, the second was a natural leather color. I'm happy with both (although the second looks much better in my opinion) but this may be something to be aware of when ordering - the appearance may vary significantly. This is an awesome addition to my pipe set up. I use this mat to rub out flakes in style. Also works great for catching tobacco that falls out while loading your bowl, making clean up simple and easy, while saving every last piece of your tobacco to enjoy on your next bowl.

I was expecting a more substantial piece of leather. It was fairly flimsy. Split leather??? And to add insult to injury, it arrived bent; leaving a huge crease in the mat....ugh!

I like it. A much more deeper brown red than what the photo shows...the photo has more grey...mine more red. Rolls up well and looks tough enough to do the job. Nice accessory.

Nice and pliable. Initially came with a nice leather smell, but that faded within about a day and now it stinks of chemicals.

No More Paper Towels! This is very affordable, very practical and it brings a touch of class. I like mine alot. If you are looking for an affordable gift you should really consider this one.
