Cohiba: Nicaragua N50 En Crystale Cigars

Evidently the idea behind the Nicaragua was that Cohiba wanted a stick that had the kick and complexity of Nicaraguan puro, but with more balance and spiciness. Their solution for this is a Nicaraguan binder/filler combination, paired with a Honduran Colorado oscuro wrapper, grown in the Jamastran Valley - right over the border from Nicaragua. The result is a medium-full smoke packed with a variety flavors from coffee, pepper, and leather to cedar and sweetness.

As an "en Crystale," the N50 vitola comes with each stick in its own cork-stoppered glass tube. While your standard tubo (usually metal) is meant for travel, and designed to breathe (at least a little) as well, this air-tight type is ideal for aging a cigar without it taking flavor from the cedar or other cigars in your humidor.
